The family started in business in 1900   and   have continued trading old and
new carpets until 21 years ago, when they recognized there was a need to renovate
and reproduce the quality and artistic excellence   of   the past. Alireza Bayat,
managing director of BNI, believes that the introduction of   chemical dye   and
machine-spun wool into the market has distracted the production standard of
good quality rugs. In efforts to reverse this trend, the company has created a
